Poem Recital

This week all the children in Room 2 have recited their poems in front of the class. Most of them wrote their own poems! We chose Faye, Caleb, Sage and Paora to represent our class for the cyndicate performance. Caleb and Paora were chosen by our syndicate to recite their poems at the school speech competition night next week. Congratulations boys!

GOOD NEWS!

At the beginning of the year, we had 5 children read below their chronological age. Now we have none!!!

For this term's 5 minutes Basic Facts Speedy Test, Seffie, Ben and Eli achieved 100%.
Ben and Eli took 3 minutes to finish; Seffie took only 1 minute! A big WOW from Mrs Bradshaw!

Assembly Awards Week 8 Term 2 2010

At the assembly on Friday, Kathleen received an award for her great progress in Math. Nakita also got an award for keeping on task and producing good quality work although she was not here to receive it on Friday. Well done girls!

Mathletics Certificates Week 8 Term 2

This week Kimberley got a Silver Certificate; Nadine, Theo, Elin and Seffie got bronze certificates. Well done!

Assembly Awards Week 7 Term 2 2010

This week Liam and Theo got assembly awards. Liam is very enthusiastic in Poem Writing. Theo is more focused on his learning. Well done boys!
