Golden Anniversary by Dani
A few years ago my grandma and grandpa had a golden anniversary..First we waited for everyone to arrive, then we ate Chinese food. Next we played a game where you had to guess the name of a song. The person who got it right got little easter eggs. Finally it was time to go home. It was such a cool day.
My Birthday by Carley
On the 12th of May it was my birthday. I had party games like; pin the tail on the donkey, treasure hunt, find the teddy, and lots more. They were really fun. I had an Avatar cake and Avatar cards with blue and red balloons. We even watched the movie Avatar! When my friends arrived they were so amazed when they walked through the door. When they saw the food they could not decide what to eat because there was so much to choose from. After the birthday cake, presents and games were finished we were all really tired. We had a great time.
Ead by Majenta
One Friday, a long time ago, I looked out my window and saw that the full moon had risen.. At that moment I knew it was EAD. The next morning we went to my Nans house and I got dressed into my Muslim dress. Then we were off to visit other Muslim people at their houses. When we got there we had to say Ead Mobark', because you have to when it is Ead. Everytime we go we know which houses to go to because they hang a picture of a flag on their doors. When you get inside they give you some juice and traditional yummy food like Kory Rote Dates and heaps more. By the end of the day I was really tired. Ead was such a cool experience and I hope I get to go next year.
Christmas Day by Ben
One Christmas Day my Mum, Dad, brother and our friends all had a Christmas party. First I jumped on the trampoline, then we had some B.B.Q food. After that we played softball and it was really fun. Later that afternoon when we were playing outside, I got a bee-sting and it really really hurt. I was okay though and I had a really awesome Christmas that day.

Halloween in Waiuku
On the 31st of October I went trick or treating in Waiuku with my friend Chanel and her two best friends. I got dressed up as Chucky and I had stitches on my face and a black eye. I went to lots and lots of houses and got thousands of lollies. When I knocked on peoples doors they said 'hello' to me and I said "trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat". It was really funny. By the time I got home I was exhausted, so I sat back and enjoyed my lollies. I had alot of fun this Halloween and it was so awesome. .........................by Jaison
